Laura Maltby is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist who has developed expertise working children aged between 2-18 years.

Laura has a Bachelor of Speech Pathology degree from James Cook University as well as a Bachelor of Business degree. She is a Member of Speech Pathology Australia.

She has experience working in both private practice and Kindergarten settings.  In her role working for Catholic Education she developed a speech and language screening tool specifically for Kindergarten aged children. Laura is proud of her ability to easily build rapport with children and their parents. She thoroughly enjoys working collaboratively with families to embrace a family centred approach.

Laura is practiced at liaising with a multidisciplinary group of Occupational Therapists and Psychologists and knows the value of working together as a team. Laura also possess clinical experience and knowledge of PECS, PODD books and the AAC app, Proloquo2go. Laura’s interests include language, literacy and speech sound therapy.
